We’ve got to admit, Elemental Wellness is the new pick for a favorite dispensary!
Walking in the door is like walking into any other kind of spa, in this case, a medical spa, but with a focus on “beauty” that really shines through. Elemental Wellness is similar to other, what we call, “cannabis spas,” like Harborside, but unique in its own way.
First, let’s talk about the medicine there: everything is tested for mold and levels of cannabinoids. Everything is packaged nicely and the medicine is fresh. You can trust if you purchase your favorite strain there that is what you are getting. The quality control of the medicines is first class; we didn’t find anything that tasted like unflushed hydro chems. They really do examine every aspect of the medicine to give you the best product.
The topicals /beauty + bath cannabis product selection is fantastic. And of course, they carry one of our favorite topicals, Dr. Greens. Sometimes I just love these topicals for the skin conditioning; and cannabis topicals work great for rashes too.
Elemental has a fabulous massage + yoga + spa treatment room and they seem to be adding to services there all the time. Since Elemental is a non-profit all of the services are free to members. We personally suggest a cash tip when appropriate, like for the masseuse. Elemental has a great in-house cannabis library where you can pursue information about growing, law, or any other cannabis related topic you might be interested in. What is nice was that when we went to visit, we were allowed to relax in the library with some cold water for a few minutes until we were ready to make our medicine purchases. There is absolutely no rush, ever, to get you in and out the door.
There is no on-site consumption allowed. This makes sense since, unlike the Vapor Room in San Francisco, one will have to come and go by car. Parking is in the back and there is always lots of it. The front door is a really short walk from parking which is good for accommodating pain patients or the disabled.
**please note, we have not accepted advertising or any remuneration for our mention of dispensaries, club, collectives or medical cannabis products in our articles.
